The Co-Own Company was formed to develop, sell, and manage co-owned housing in urban and university neighborhoods. As housing in urban centers becomes more expensive, home ownership has become out of reach for more and more people. The average age of homebuyers in the US has skyrocketed in recent decades while wages have stagnated. We believe homeownership should be simple, accessible and affordable, and that more people deserve beautiful places to live.

Your New Home

Our building designs use traditional brick exteriors that blend in well in established urban neighborhoods. Our residences provide private bedrooms and bath suites for each owner, in addition to full access to shared living rooms, dining areas, co-working space and outdoor amenities. Each residence has optional furnishings available to maximize space, making move-in quick and easy.

Our units will also have the highest energy efficiency and indoor air-quality as part of our net-zero energy design. Our buildings include solar photovoltaic panels, high efficiency electric water heaters, energy efficient appliances, and underfloor heating. We’re even providing an electric car-sharing option for our residents!

We’ve already identified our first site, at Holly St. and Cedar St. in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood.

We are currently raising $1M from non-accredited investors via Wefunder. The remaining $9.5M will come from accredited (high net worth) investors.

After the successful launch of Denver projects, in subsequent years we will expand into other American cities with similar housing needs, in the South, West, East and North, i.e. Miami, Palo Alto, Boston, and Ann Arbor, building proven designs in a new market each year. In our second year the Company will raise up to $50M to fund the equity portion of these projects, through a Regulation A+ offering.
